Solana and Opera Form a Partnership

Opera signed a partnership agreement with Solana Labs on Friday to provide native support for the well-known blockchain, allowing it to manage its own Solana wallet along with all the dApps of the ecosystem. Solana and Popular Browser Platform Form Partnership

The team at the popular browser said the integration will be available in the first quarter of 2022. By then, consumers will be able to experience all the benefits of blockchain in desktop and mobile browsers without any restrictions.

Opera joins forces with @Solana! ? The integration will allow Android users to have seamless access to Solana DApps along with low fees and fast transactions in the ecosystem. You will be able to access it through Opera in the first quarter of 2022.

Unsurprisingly, the opera in Solana is mesmerizing. Since at least 2018, the browser has taken a more targeted approach to the interoperability of cryptocurrencies, blockchain technology, and the so-called Web 3.0.

The news did not appear to have generated much interest in the markets. Browser shares ended Friday’s trading session at $ 7.24, down 4.36% from $ 6.96 at the start of the week.

Solana’s price trend, in turn, did not react to this news, continuing the negative dynamics started in early November, immediately after its ATH. SOL, Solana’s own token, closed the day down 7.86% at $ 166.97. At the time of writing, the price has corrected to $ 169.21, which is still about 35% below the ATH cap and represents a 14% drop in weekly results.

Browser Brace

Despite some criticism, Brave has long been the undisputed champion of crypto browsers. The browser is even powered by its own blockchain, and the BAT token serves as the foundation for a new ecosystem aimed at rethinking the economics of advertising and content promotion by paying users to view ads and empowering communities to reward great content providers.

Opera has taken a more realistic approach. They have not created cryptocurrency and do not want to create something new, but their browser has adapted to Web3 like no other. In addition to Solana, the browser includes its own cryptocurrency wallet, Dapp support, and other blockchain-related capabilities.
